The judge should be fair, just and compassionate.I will set up neighborhood sites where I can educate and inform people of their legal rights. "Know Your Legal Rights" ..... So often people are in situations while driving, while having an enjoyable evening downtown on the weekend, or even at home and they are approached by an officer of the law and people don't know what to do........ I will provide guidance and direction to citizens so they can understand what is going on, what to say, how to act and what to do if things get out of hand. An officer's job is extremely hard. Officers have to serve and protect the community, as well as, one another. Someone should stand in the gap to prevent so many people from having to deal with the added costs of going to Shreveport City Court to handle matters, some of which, could have been prevented with education and explanation.
