As a practicing attorney of thirteen years and a former math teacher, SHEVA knows that it takes hard work and dedication to accomplish goals.

Education

SHEVA knows the importance of education and how it affects all areas of our lives, employment, higher education, crime, and teenage pregnancy. Our children are our future and Sheva is committed to providing them the tools necessary to excel. For more than 10 years Sheva has offered free tutoring to students that have difficulty in mathematics.

Healthcare and Insurance

SHEVA knows the value of healthcare. As the mother of two wonderful children, Taylor and K.C., she knows the importance of making healthcare affordable to everyone. SHEVA will implement change and bring structure to healthcare and insurance programs by reorganizing the Medicare-Medicaid system to ensure that low-to-moderate income families can receive quality healthcare at a fair cost.

Tax Dollars, Small Business and Infrastructure

SHEVA knows the value of supporting small business. Sheva is the owner of Sims Law Firm and a tax-payer. She understands the role of small business and knows that they are the key to economic growth and stability. She will work hard see that our tax dollars are reinvested into our community. She will encourage corporations to partner with Shreveport-Bossier to create more revenue and jobs for our citizens.
